Press Release
From the Press Office of Andrea Bacchetti
Following the emotional performance in Portofino in memory of Gino Paoli with Amanda Sandrelli and other guests, Bacchetti
returns for the third time to Brixen for the International Festival "Mozart and Friends".
This historic event commemorates Mozart's frequent visits to this small Alpine town, where his talent was "absorbed,
reworked, and nurtured".
In the historic building of the Bishop's Palace "Hofburg", within the imperial wing - where Mozart himself performed
multiple times - the pianist and the "Sudtirol Filarmonica Ensemble" brought to life Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 25
(K503) and Haydn's Concerto Hob. XVIII. This performance revived the 18th-century "sound world" an era when music
was less about a spectacle and more about connection, relationships, and a shared experience.
The concert was introduced by musicologist Giacomo Fornari, president of Pro-cultura, with the participation of Michele
Mirabella. The large, attentive, and enthusiastic audience fully shared and appreciated the spirit of the event as a cultural
experience capable of making the past resonate in the present. In a setting surrounded by Baroque facades and silent courtyards,
it was easy to relive those emotions as a timeless heritage that continues to be heard.
A few highly appreciated Bach encores brought the evening to a close.
The concert was recorded by Rai Radio Tre and will be broadcast nationwide in the near future.
We can also announce that on Sunday, November 15 at 5:00 PM, Bacchetti will hold a concert at the Teatro Sociale in Camogli
(Genoa, Italy), performing Book 1 of The Well-Tempered Clavier by Johann Sebastian Bach.
