Easter notes in Brixen:
Alogna and Bacchetti enchant the audience
A refined concert, a musical dialogue of rare rapport, and an audience captivated from beginning to end. On Thursday, April
2nd, at 7:30 PM, the Pro Cultura Association of Brixen presented a highly anticipated Easter recital featuring violinist
Davide Alogna and pianist Andrea Bacchetti - performers who delivered an evening defined by elegance and virtuosity
The duo, both internationally established and esteemed for their solid solo careers, brought to life a program titled
"Virtuosos and Virtuosity". The repertoire was crafted as a musical journey through the 18th and 19th centuries,
skillfully balancing lyrical introspection with technical brilliance.
The opening piece, Giuseppe Tartini's "Didone abbandonata", immediately established an intimate and intense
atmosphere, while Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Sonata KV 304 highlighted the precision of their phrasing and the transparent
dialogue between the two instruments. Following this, Ludwig van Beethoven's Romance Op. 50 No. 2 offered one of the most
poignant moments of the evening, met with attentive and engaged listening.
Among the most applauded segments was Gioachino Rossini's rare "Un mot à Paganini. Élégie pour violon et piano",
performed with great interpretive sensitivity, revealing the more lyrical and unexpected side of the composer from Pesaro.
Closing the journey were the evocative atmospheres of Jules Massenet's "Thaïs", which filled the hall with a
crescendo of emotion and intensity.
The concert concluded amidst long applause and warm requests for encores, confirming the audience's enthusiastic approval.
The perfect harmony between Alogna and Bacchetti, combined with a musical reading balanced between rigor and expressive
sensitivity, transformed the traditional Easter concert into a high-profile artistic event, destined to remain a highlight
of Brixen's musical season.
