Foreground

In January the Orchestra Camerata Ducale and the conductor Guido Rimonda will be engaged in four events with pianist Andrea Bacchetti in a programme devoted to neoclassic-baroque period. The concerts deserve special attention for the programme and also for the pianist, who received enthusiastic acclaim from the music world despite his young age. At only 11 years Bacchetti begins with the Solisti Veneti conducted by Claudio Scimone. Soon he was invited to participate in important international festivals and world tours with major orchestras and conductors. Besides the intense concert activity, Andrea Bacchetti has also recorded a remarkable number of disks. Many of these CDs were reviewed by the major European magazines including names such as BBC Music Magazine, Musica, Amadeus, International Record Review, American Record Guide, Fanfare, Japan Gejiutsu Record, Piano News, International Piano, Piano Magazine, and obtained the recommendation of Gramophone, Classics Today France's award, and the Italian Critics Award nomination for 2008 by the Classic Voice Magazine. In november 2011 the magazine Suonare News devoted its cover to Bacchetti, and published an interview with the evocative title "do not call me enfant prodige".
